Urgent Dogs

We are aware of the following dogs in local and regional pounds that will need rescue soon if their owners do not come for them. We are unable to help rescue these dogs if we don’t have foster homes willing to care for them. Fostering can be the most rewarding and fulfilling thing a true dog lover can ever do to support dogs in need.

Please help by applying to become a foster home!

The following dogs need rescue commitment by 4pm Monday, March 28th:

  • (Two) 4 month old Lab puppies: 35-40 lbs, really nice dogs, they are going to be BIG adult dogs
  • 1-2 yr old Cavalier/Beagle or Terrier mix:  Very nice, happy dog
  • 4-5 month old German Shepherd (long-haired): Very sweet, submissive dog
  • 1-2 yr old Pug: Extremely cute and friendly

The following dog needs rescue commitment by 4pm Wednesday, March 30th:

  • 10-12 month old Spaniel or Retriever mix: 45-50 lbs, sweet and a bit timid, incredibly thick fur

The following dog needs rescue commitment ASAP:

  • 2 yr old Border Collie Mix: 30-35lbs. sweet, easy going, loves everyone! A sure cutie! (See Border Collie Mix )

About 4luvofdog

We are a 100% volunteer run, non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs. In 2011, we rescued 275 dogs and found new homes for 250 dogs. We are based in Fargo, North Dakota. We have no shelter facility. All of our dogs are in foster homes or are being cared for at local boarding facilities. We receive no government funding and rely upon grants, fundraising and your generous donations to pay our expenses.

Is the German Shepard still available? The long haired one you have listed as urgent?

    Thanks!
