We Got Another Grant!

4 Luv of Dog Rescue Receives $4500 Grant from ASPCA

December 15, 2010, Fargo ND — 4 Luv of Dog Rescue, an all-volunteer run, non-profit animal rescue group in Fargo ND, has been awarded a $4500 grant by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). The grant money will be used to help fund spay/neuter procedures for non-sterilized dogs that have been rescued from area pounds or surrendered by their owners. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue is a firm supporter of the ASPCA’s conviction that all pets should be spayed or neutered to help diminish pet overpopulation, which in turn will help decrease the number of homeless animals that end up in local and regional pounds.

The ASPCA was the first humane organization in the Western Hemisphere. It’s mission is “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.” The ASPCA works to rescue animals from abuse, pass humane laws and share resources with shelters nationwide.
