4 Luv of Dog is planning our 2nd Annual Silent Auction, and help is needed! Come to a meeting for more info and to help.
NEXT MEETING DATE: July 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Bethany Homes, 203 University Dr S., Fargo.
ALL WILLING TO VOLUNTEER SHOULD ATTEND! Volunteers needed for these committees:
1) Food/Beverage Committee;
2) Marketing Committee;
3) Set Up/Take Down Committee;
4) Cashiers/Checkout Committee;
5) Happy Tails Board Committee;
6) Gift Baskets Committee;
7) Soliciting
-Food/Beverage – Research food/chocolate fountain, etc. for event
-Marketing – Willing to go on radio to speak of the event, get flyers, posters, postcards developed, etc.
-Set Up/Take Down Committee – coordinate and assist in getting items to event, taking down event, etc.
-Cashiers/Checkout Committee – assist at Silent Auction checking people out, will work with Treasurer, Julie, who is heading up this committee
-Happy Tails Board Committee – develop, assemble board of pics and info of adopted dogs, etc.
-Gift Baskets Committee – must be available during day and evening right before the event to assemble smaller items and some gift certificates into gift baskets.
-Soliciting – contact area businesses via phone, letter or physical visit to a business to obtain gift certificates, financial donation or items.
