We use all funds towards the dogs. No paid personnal here! We help because we care! It takes a lot of resources to run a dog rescue program.
We are always needing supplies due to increases in our doggy ranks and wear and tear:
Kennels/Crates (all sizes)
Food & Water Bowls
Toys
Collars** & Leashes
Dog Beds
Treats
Gift Certificates (Natural Pet Center, PetSmart, Petco, FleetFarm)
**Our rescue prefers the martingale style of collar as it helps to prevent the dog from slipping his head out of the collar while still being comfortable for the dog to wear.
We have no shelter building. All of our dogs are either in foster homes or being cared for at local pet boarding facilities. Foster homes are preferred as they provide valuable insight into the dog’s personality to help us better match the dog with a perfect home.
There are many expenses incurred in caring for these dogs (pull fees, boarding fees, vaccinations, spay/neuter, vetting, dog food, transportation, advertising). We rely on adoption fees, fundraisers, and donations to cover our expenses. It is not uncommon for a dog’s adoption fee to be less than the expenses incurred while caring for the dog.
Any donations received are used to cover expenses incurred while caring for and rehoming the dogs.
