More Foster Homes Desperately Needed!!!
4 Luv of Dog rescue is in urgent need of foster homes, especially for the holiday season! Everyday we get calls from people who are moving and can not take their dogs with them, or from the pounds who have dogs that have only 2-3 days to live, or from concerned citizens who know of a dog who needs rescue ASAP. Usually we take all the dogs in that we feel are adoptable. If we don’t have foster homes we pay to have these dogs boarded. We pay to have them boarded because we know that there is a home out there for every dog we rescue and every dog deserves a second chance. We know it is just a matter of time until we find a foster or forever home for the dogs in need. But with the Holiday season the boarding kennels are full and we have NO where to put the dogs in need that have no foster homes.
We are begging the community to consider offering temporary homes to urgent dogs this holiday season. Our rescue will provide all the necessary material for a foster dog. We pay for food, medical care, crates, leashes, toys and etc. Please help give a dog their holiday wish to live and find a family of their own by offering to foster them.
Here are just a few dogs we are desperate to find foster homes for:
female, black Shar Pei;
3 male and 4 female, 7 week old Lab/Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppies;
one Basset/Lab mix whose has been forced to live in a kennel outside in below zero temps;
2 Lab brothers(not pictured) whose owner went to jail.
* Shar Pei (Update: We have found foster homes for the Shar Pei, We still need foster homes for the 2 Labs (not pictured) and Butch (not pictured)
* Lab/Chessie Pups (12/16 Update: A foster home for the Lab/Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppies has been found!)
* Basset/Lab (Update: We have found foster homes for the Basset/Lab mix. We still need foster homes for the 2 Labs (not pictured) and Butch (not pictured)
If you can help any of these dogs please contact us ASAP and fill out a foster application. Fosters can truly save a dog’s life. A few days to a couple weeks of your time can give a homeless dog the chance at a lifetime of love and happiness.
PLEASE help the dogs out…this is their ONLY voice!
